If you like cute deco/washi tapes, I definitely recommend 100 yen stores. These ones were a recent Daiso purchase, and I love how adorable they are. One features cute ducks, and the other one is filled with teddy bears -- both are lovely if you want to decorate envelopes, planners, or scrapbooking pages with a little dose of whimsy. The price is hard to beat, too. At only 100 yen (plus tax) per roll, they are so much cheaper than designer washi tape brands like MT tape. I do still purchase from MT tape from time to time, but these are much more economical and to me work just as nicely from an adhesive standpoint.

I was interested that these were sold at Daiso but had what I think is Portuguese writing on the packaging. I can't say I've seen that before, but maybe I just haven't been paying attention! I wouldn't really say that's a negative thing either, just typically there's big Daiso branding on the packaging which wasn't the case with these. Overall though, there's not a lot to complain about with these -- the tapes are super cute, and work well in terms of their adhesive properties. Even if the designs aren't your personal cup of tea, there are many varieties at Daiso (or other 100 yen stores) at any given time. Happy crafting!
