This is a really tasty cake if you like chocolate flavored things, as it doubles up on the chocolatey flavor via both chocolate chips and chocolate cream. Some financiers I've had before lean towards the drier side for cakes, but this was lovely and moist -- I really appreciated and enjoyed that! I felt that the price was pretty reasonable, too, at 198 yen including tax. The portion size is decent, and the whole thing clocks in at only 229 calories which I didn't think was bad for an indulgent tasting dessert. Worth trying, I think!

I personally didn't have a lot of negative commentary to offer about this product. The cake managed to be really moist and packed with chocolatey flavor, the price felt pretty reasonable, and it wasn't a huge calorie bomb. I guess one downside could be that it's a limited time only product, and I don't know for sure when it'll disappear from store shelves forever! ;) If it does sound good to you, I would highly recommend checking for it at your nearest Family Mart store while you can.
