The good
This is a really delicious ice bar if you enjoy the taste of fresh strawberries. It contains juice from Amaou strawberries sourced from Fukuoka Prefecture, and the flavor of the product is really good. It is priced a little higher than what I would expect an ice bar of this size to cost at a convenience store, but I do feel like it's marketed as a premium product with premium ingredients -- so it didn't feel exorbitantly costly. The entire thing is only 75 calories as well, so it's a tasty and relatively low calorie way to enjoy a refreshing sweet treat at this time of year.
The not so good
As I mentioned above, this ice bar product is priced a little higher than other similarly-sized ice products on convenience store shelves. If price is your deciding factor when purchasing something, there are plenty of other icy treats to opt for. Also, I did feel like it was an interesting flavor to release around the summer period. Don't get me wrong, I love strawberry flavored things -- but in my mind they're more of a wintertime/early spring fruit. Those points aside, this is still a really yummy treat if you enjoy strawberry flavored things. Not sure how long it will be on shelves for, so I would recommend checking at your nearest Lawson ASAP if it sounds good to you.
