Feeling like winter is officially here

Although we didn't get snow yesterday for Christmas Day, it feels like winter has arrived in earnest today. There are heavy snow warnings in effect for certain areas, (Uonuma City, Kashiwazaki City, Minamiuonuma City, Yuzawa Town, Tokamachi City, Tsunan Town, Joetsu City, Itoigawa City, and Myoko City), and my local forecast has non stop snow until around 10 or 11am tomorrow morning. After a few quick errands earlier today, it feels like time to hunker down for a bit!

If you are in an area getting some significant snow today, make sure you take all the necessary precautions if you have to be out in the weather. If you can avoid it, though, I recommend just relaxing at home!
