Yamazaki Baking raising prices of 300+ items from July

If your household is anything like ours, you probably buy a bit of stuff from the Yamazaki Baking company. My husband in particular is super fond of their castella and Siberia cake, but as of July 1st their products are going to get a little more expensive on the wallet.

They announced yesterday that they'll be increasing the prices of 306 items from that date, as a result of rising costs for raw materials like oil and flour, along with rising transportation costs as a result of the war in Iran.

It's a good reminder that living here, we're not immune from the flow on effects of global conflicts.
