The description

This product is a pair of children's Adidas "Core Fight" sneakers, which were purchased from Amazon JP here: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B096G6N17P/

The good

I got these for my son because they were cheaper than the Pumas I recently bought him that were a little too large, and overall I'm happy with them. They feel quite lightweight, so I think they're a good sneaker for the warmer months, or when children are playing sports. The grip on them is good, and I quite like the grey colorway as I think it will be easy to keep them looking clean. They have a velcro closure, which I also like -- if you have younger children who are still working on tying their shoes confidently, it's a bit easier having velcro on busy mornings!

The not so good

I do think that because these sneakers have quite a lightweight feel to them, that perhaps they won't hold up as well as other sturdier feeling sneakers would. Of course, that's only speculation as these are a very new purchase, but hopefully I'm wrong. For the price though, I still think these were worth purchasing -- they were about 800 yen cheaper than the Pumas I purchased, and they do seem comfortable. My son is happy with them as well, which is the main thing! Hopefully they surprise me with how well they handle the busy life of my child.
