If you like meaty, peppery flavors, then this new NY Thick Beef Pepper & Beef Saute burger from McDonalds is a nice one to try. The first noticeable thing is the bun, which is a more square-shaped one, so it's already a little bit different than their other burger offerings. In terms of the fillings, this one has a beef patty, lettuce, a peppery mustard sauce, and mayo. Usually I'm not a huge mayo fan, but in this case I actually feel like it works well in combination with the peppery mustard sauce. It definitely packs a punch flavor wise!

Even though this was very flavor packed, I couldn't help but feel like it was missing something, and I wasn't able to put my finger on exactly why that was. It wasn't bad, but I guess I was just expecting more wow factor for the price. If you do find yourself really liking it, though, one key downside is that it's only a limited time offering! If it sounds like a must try item to you, I would recommend heading in to your nearest McDonalds store sooner rather than later. Overall, I'd say it was still perfectly serviceable, but probably not something I'd feel compelled to purchase again.
