The description

This product is a packet of Pino ice creams in a new honey brûlée/anno potato flavor. They're a limited time offering and I got them from 7-11 for 220 yen including tax.

The good

I'm a big fan of Pino ice creams year round, and even their standard vanilla ice cream with chocolate coating flavor is delicious to me. They really up the ante with some of their seasonal offerings, though, and this new honey brûlée/anno potato flavor absolutely knocks it out of the park. The inside is filled with sweet potato ice cream using sweet potatoes from Tanegashima in Kagoshima, and the outer is a sweet potato chocolate with little caramel bits in it to give off that brûlée vibe. The whole thing even *looks* like a sweet potato, with the purple outer and yellowy inside. Very cute!

The not so good

Not a gripe about the product, but I'm just sad this is only a limited time thing! It's super delicious, and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves all things sweet potato inspired for the autumn season. If you find yourself *really* loving it, you might want to stock up on a couple of extra packets to keep in your freezer if you have space for them :) I'm assuming they'll be available at all convenience stores, so keep an eye out for them if they sound good to you. They're definitely up there with the best Pino flavors that I've tried. Happy eating!
