First snow has arrived!

I feel like my favorite "in between" seasons have been shrinking in length over recent years, particularly autumn. It seems like one minute it's super hot and humid, and the next it's cold and chilly. 

This was evidenced by the mountains in our local area getting their first dusting of snow for the year earlier this week. 

We are still getting decent daily highs out here (between about 15-20c right now), but I'm sure before I know it that will drop off, and we'll also have snow on the ground!
