The description

This product is a pair of ASHBERRY Kids' School Swim Shorts, and I ordered them online from Amazon Japan. They were priced at 1480 yen (including tax).

The good

My son was in need of some new swim shorts, and instead of paying 3 to 4 times the price, I opted for this random brand called Ashberry which I found on Amazon Japan. They were only 1480 yen, which compared to name brand swim shorts is a steal of a deal. Quality-wise, they seem great, too. The fabric feels pretty much like previous ones I've purchased from Speedo, and there's a drawstring around the waist so you can tighten them a little if you need to. They also have UPF50+ UV Protection, which is a nice additional feature to be sun smart!

The not so good

These do run a touch small in my opinion, so if your child is between sizes I would highly recommend sizing up. They're not meant to be too loose, of course, but even considering that I would think sizing up is the better option. Overall though, for the price I think these are a really good deal, and a very worthy competitor to brands like Speedo or Arena for swimwear. On Amazon Japan the listing is under "ASHBERRY (アッシュベリー) キッズスクール水着 男の子用海パン セミロングタイプ[UPF50+紫外線対策加工]" if you need to find it. Hope they're useful if you end up purchasing them!
