Origami to celebrate Blue Impulse in Ojiya

As I mentioned in another blog today, the Blue Impulse team from the JASDF did a flyover event in Ojiya, which was super cool to see.

Something else I loved seeing was the amount of local businesses getting in on the fun. For instance, a café we popped into were giving out these cute origami planes to customers!

It probably seems like a really small gesture but it was one of those things that reminded me of how much I love living here. It's all the little things like this that make life in Japan so great.
