The description

This product is a Godzilla Choux Cream pastry, and it's a limited time offering available from Beard Papa stores across the country. It was priced at 390 yen.

The good

If you like a good choux cream pastry and you're also a fan of quirky collaboration-style items, then this Godzilla Choux Cream from Beard Papa stores right now is a fun option to try! The whole schtick with this one is that it's designed to look like Godzilla's skin on the outside, and I actually think they did a pretty good job of emulating it! As for the inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream, and it was packed full of fruity flavor. Overall, I think it's a fun option to try out if you're after a unique sweet treat, and I didn't find the price to be unreasonable given the freshness and quality. Decent portion, too!

The not so good

One key downside with this is that it's a limited time only option. It'll be available throughout all of July, but once August comes it's going to disappear. If it sounds like a must-try item to you, I would definitely recommend heading in to your nearest Beard Papa store sooner rather than later. I would give this four out of five stars. It tastes good, the black "Godzilla skin" outer makes it a bit more fun than your usual choux cream, and the price feels reasonable for what you get. I hope you enjoy it if you also end up giving it a try -- happy eating! :)
