Sweaty summers changing how people go about their days

Do Japan's sweaty summers change how you go about your day? After spending years here now, I've certainly found myself thinking twice about what I'm wearing and whether I really want to head out in the middle of the afternoon.

It turns out a lot of people feel the same way, with a recent survey finding that sweating is affecting more than just people's comfort. Of 9,459 people surveyed, 4,767 said they were concerned about sweating, and 58% of those people said they'd given up certain activities because of it.

The most common change was giving up wearing clothes they actually liked (I definitely do this with certain colors!), while others avoided getting too close to people or skipped going out during the day and planning longer outings.

Does sweat change how you go about your day during summers here?
