This is the other flavor option in Meiji's newly-released "Deep Blend" yogurt series, and it's nice if you're looking for something bright and punchy in taste. This one incorporates lemon juice, Chardonnay grape juice, and apple pulp, and much like the peach variety I think this one also does a good job of mixing different fruit flavors together well for a satisfying product. At 235 yen including tax for four tubs, it's less that 60 yen a tub -- so I think the value for money aspect is great. I like to bulk these up with other fresh fruits, granola, or oats, so that's it's a more substantial breakfast option or even for a solid, balanced snack.

Like the white peach flavor, I really don't have a lot to complain about with these. I will say that like some Japanese yogurts, this is on the thinner side in terms of consistency. If you want thicker yogurt, I would recommend looking for either Greek or Icelandic yogurt styles -- AEON offers an inexpensive store branded Greek yogurt brand which I really like, and it often comes in various seasonal flavors. Keep an eye out for this at your local supermarkets if it sounds appealing. Happy eating, and enjoy!
