The description

This product is a packet of origami sized paper sheets with a hydrangea theme to each design. I purchased the pack at my local Daiso for 100 yen plus tax.

The good

One of the things I love about the rainy season here in Japan is the abundance of beautiful flowers I get to enjoy, and hydrangeas (ajisai) are probably my favorite. This pack of origami paper sheets is perfect if you're also a floral fan, and you get a generous 36 sheets in the pack -- there are four design styles, so you get 9 pieces of each one. The illustration style is whimsical and dreamy-feeling, and there are four separate background colors (pink, teal-ish green, yellow, and blue), so a good amount of variety. I will be using these to chronicle rainy season adventures for my scrapbooking pages. Great value for money, too! :)

The not so good

Most blooms here are super seasonal, so I feel that if you're using these for crafts they might feel as if they have a limited window of use. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from using hydrangea-themed papers in the dead of winter if you want to! Overall though, I really love these! I always enjoy floral-themed origami sheets and other crafting supplies, and hydrangeas are up there with my favorite blooms. If you like doing seasonal crafts or scrapbooking projects, I would recommend keeping an eye out for these at your nearest Daiso store. Hope they're fun and useful for you!
