The description

This product is a Halloween-themed bath bomb in the shape of a pumpkin from Lush. These are priced at 850 yen, and are scented with lime oil, sweet orange oil, and mandarin oil.

The good

First of all, this bath bomb is adorably cute...almost too cute to watch it fizz away. Lush has a range of Halloween themed bath bombs at the moment, but this was my primary choice because it just encapsulates the season so well. Secondly, I really liked the scent of it. It's fragranced with the natural scents of lime oil, sweet orange oil, and mandarin oil, so it's a very uplifting, invigorating smell. I think it's great if you're feeling tired and need a bit of pep in your step! It's also quite a large bath bomb, so if you wanted to optimize your value you could break it in half and use it for a couple of baths.

The not so good

The biggest deterrent for me when it comes to shopping at Lush is the price. 850 yen for a bath bomb is a real splurge in my opinion, and definitely not something I can afford to use every time I take a bath! When you compare the price of a Lush bath bomb to the multi-packs of scented bath fizzing tablets at drug stores here, it's kind of painful to feel like you're watching your money fizz away in one bath. In saying that, I do think from time to time it's nice to treat yourself, and I don't splurge on much else in life!
