If you like more fruity-flavored donuts over chocolatey ones, this new berry French cruller is a nice option to try. It's filled with a mixed berry jam and whipped cream, and then coated with a strawberry flavored chocolate and sprinkled with a raspberry flavored sugar. It has a really nice look to it -- very visually appealing -- and the taste was good as well. Price-wise, I think it was reasonable as well. There are a lot of components to the donut, so 216 yen didn't seem like bad value for money at all.

As mentioned, there is a bit going on with this donut in terms of flavors, textures, and so forth. If your personal preference leans towards simplicity with donuts, then the raw French cruller with sugar glaze would be a better option for you. That aside, I really liked this donut, although I would say that the chocolate/custard one is my number one. This was fun though for a fresh and fruity alternative, and it was probably my kid's favorite out of the three we tried. Not sure how much longer they are available for, so have a look at your nearest Misdo ASAP. Enjoy!
