The description

This product is a Mickey Waffle, which can be purchased from the Great American Waffle Co. at Tokyo Disney. It's served with chestnut cream and maple syrup, and was priced at 800 yen.

The good

First and foremost, this is an ultra-cute food option that I feel like is a must-try when at Disneyland. At the moment the waffle is coming served with a chestnut cream and maple syrup, and it feels like a perfectly autumn-themed dessert. It's presented really nicely, which makes the price point not seem too bad. The taste of it is delicious, as well. I think the chestnut cream and the maple syrup are perfect accompaniments to the chewy-yet-fluffy waffle -- I really enjoyed it, as did my kids. It's a bit of a splurge for what it is, but it's part of the Disney experience IMO!

The not so good

As the title says, this is pretty pricey for a single waffle, which would probably cost 50 yen when it comes to the ingredients needed. In saying that, I do think when you go to a theme park that enjoying the food is part of the experience, and an adorable waffle in the shape of Mickey's face ends up being pretty hard to resist. It was thoroughly delicious, too, so I can't be too mad! I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you're visiting Disneyland, I think it's something that would appeal to most people's tastebuds!
