If you're after a fun dessert that feels appropriate for the colder months, the new creme brulee hot donut option from McDonalds is a worthwhile option to try. They consist of a chewy doughnut dough sprinkled with crunchy pieces of waffle cone on the exterior, and they're filled with a delicious custard cream. You get three pieces for the price of 260 yen including tax, and they're pretty bite-sized so I think it's good if want something sweet but don't need a massive portion of anything. As someone who loves custard-based desserts, I really enjoyed the taste of these.

If you want the maximum volume from your dessert of choice, then I would recommend scoping out your local supermarket or convenience store -- I do think there are better options out there if you're just looking for something sweet and want peak value for money. Overall though, I liked these quite a lot.
