Axes Femme Lucky Bag 2023

Ever since experiencing Japan around New Year for the first time (this was 2010/11), lucky bags have been a topic for me. While I don't line up for hours earlier from the morning anymore, I am glad most of my annual lucky bags I can get online now.

One fukubukuro I get every year is from my favorite fashion brand Axes Femme.

This year they had three different lucky bags to choose from: the usual Axes Femme, Axes Femme Poetique and Axes Femme Kawaii. They were only available online and not sold in the shop this time. First, they released some small parts of the clothes, and thanks to this I decided to only get one, because Poetique and Kawaii included blue colors, which I don't like.

My lucky bag arrived at home on December 26th.

The normal Axes Femme lucky bag costs 11,000 yen and includes five pieces. They are all "one size." There are two color variations, I get color set A.

1. A short winter jacket in black. In the years before it was always a coat and I don't own a short jacket. Something I had to get used to first.
2. A dress in violet. Well, I like the design with the flowers and lace a lot. However, I feel like the straps are not made for a big chest. When I wear them they look even more huge.
3. A cardigan in cream white. This is actually pretty nice and goes well together with everything. Also, it is nice to hide my problems with the dress. Color set B has this cardigan in black and I got this one, too, on mercari.
4. A pullover in cream color. I already have a lot of cream pullovers, but this is pretty cute. It has a ribbon at the front and I like the frills on the shoulders.
5. A plaid skirt in brown. This one is really pretty. It comes with a belt you can tie as a ribbon. The petticoat is having some frills in the skirt fabric which makes it look very nice. It's only a bit tight for my body shape. The B set has this skirt in red, which I even like a little more, but honestly, I already have about 10 red skirts.

All in all, I really liked this year's lucky bag from Axes Femme. Only the jacket I have to get used to and the straps of the dress I probably gonna hide with a cardigan, but everything else is nice. Looking forward to wearing everything outside now.
