Taste Test: Pudding Sandwich

As a sweets lover I always love to try out new cafes and sweets. This time I was hunting for the Pudding Sandwich from Lawson. It was already released a while ago, but somehow our Lawsons around never had it. But now finally! There were two pieces left in the shelf. 

The Pudding Sandwich costs 298 yen which is usual price for sandwich sets in this size. I took it home in the evening after work and kept it in the fridge over night to have it for breakfast. 

The pack consists of two half sandwhiches. They are filled with whipped cream, pudding slices and caramel sauce. The pudding seems to include a lot of egg that makes up the special texture which is not as creamy as usual pudding, but rather solid.

Taste-wise it is not bad. It tastes like actual pudding with caramel sauce - only the texture is different and there is some white bread around. I would give it 6 out of 10 points.
