First day in Tokyo and not knowing what to do? Listen up!

Have you ever experienced just landing in a new city, tired from the travel, but still have to wait 6 hours until you can get your hotel room? Well it happens to me pretty often (like every time I go traveling) and I hate when I have to drag my suitcase around to crowded areas or go out of my way to find a coin locker. Well if you are like me then listen up. I might have the perfect solutions for you if you are landing in Haneda Airport, Tokyo International Airport.

After arriving in Haneda Airport, go through pass control and receive baggage, then it does not take many minutes to arrive at Oi Horse Racing Track. In fact, you do not even have to step out of the airport to get on the Tokyo Monorail and after a short 13-minute train ride you will arrive right in front the stadium.

The racetrack has coin-lockers so you will not have to worry about your luggage. It also offers many kinds of food, so if you were hoping to eat Japanese food on your first day in Tokyo, then don’t worry, as here you will be able to find sushi, various kinds of rice bowls etc. If the weather is good, I recommend to get a seat outside in the sun while watching the horse races. If you feel extra lucky, why not try to make a bet? And if you want extra comfort or luxury then spend a little extra on a seat in the VIP boxes.

All in all, no matter what you are looking for to kill a couple of hours in Tokyo, then Oi Horse Racing Track has it!
