The description

Dandy Chocomint is a variation in Futaba Foods' Dandy brand of chocolate ice cream treats. The ice cream bar is exclusively available at 7-11 convenience stores.

The good

Dandy Chocomint is a chocolate ice cream monaka. Monaka, if you're not familiar, refers to sweets sandwiched between wafers. The package has bold katakana reading "pakisaku?!", crispy and crunchy. The monaka is flavored with chocolate. On opening the package, we caught the aroma of mint right away and the ice milk carries the flavor well. The light green ice milk is studded with little chocolate chips. The bar is bigger than a lot of other similar ice milk treats. Little people will need to hold it with both hands!

The not so good

My dinner companion and I really liked this treat and highly recommend it. It's pretty good for the price. And it's bigger than other ice cream bars and ice monaka you usually see in convenience stores and supermarkets. I am not a huge fan of monaka because it's dry and tends to stick to the roof of my mouth. But the flavor won me over as a monaka convert. And it's otherwise easy to eat as the monaka keeps the smooth ice milk on the inside. This ice milk treat is exclusively available at 7-11 convenience stores.
