The description Suntory's The Premium Malt's lineup produces Yubina Yoin, meaning "elegant aftertaste". The beer which touts a wine-like flavour, is available in 350 and 500 ml aluminum cans.
The good

Suntory's The Premium Malt's (their punctuation, not mine) includes Yubina Yoin. The beer is brewed with diamond malt and European aroma hops (the Hallertau Blanc variety. The image on the can looks psychedelic, which contrasts with the name, Yubina, or "elegant". No matter, it's eye-catching. The beer pours much like other "puremoru" or premium malt beers with a golden colour and a lot of bubbles. The intent is white grape and floral scents. You get a bit of yeastiness. It's a pretty decent sip with fruitiness.

The not so good

Suntory's The Premium Malt's Yubina Yoin is a pretty good offering in terms of premium malt beers. The price point is typical of similar "puremoru" at 300 yen. I can't really complain about this beer. It's got the wine-grape flavour, fruity and floral notes that Suntory aims to achieve. The beer has a nice balance between fruit, floral, and bitter notes. The flavours and aroma persists right through the drink. You'll find the taste lingers. Not bad. The only downside is that it's hard to come by, though it isn't labeled as a limited product.
