While waiting on a train platform for my ride home, I realized I really needed to rehydrate. The easy fix is vending machine drinks. While I like fizzy ones, it's best to stick with flat. So I opted for this one - iMUSE Fruit Refresh Apple Mix. The drink comes in a 500 ml PET plastic bottle. The label indicates that the drink contains 10% fruit juice. And it's fortified, too. You'll see a callout on the label that says 免疫, meneki, immunity. The drink contains lactic acid and a day's dietary intake of Vitamin C and iron.

iMUSE Fruit Refresh Apple Mix is refreshing and crisp. I liked it, and tried Kirin iMUSE's other flavours, too. I'd get this again. Essentially, no complaints from me. The product website touts the health benefits and immune boost of the ingredients. It has a caution that the drink has not been evaluated for health purposes. However, it does contain 3.5 mg of iron. The amount of Vitamin C varies, perhaps by product lot? There is only 10% juice in this bottle - apple, acerola, and peach. The flavours make for a good combo I hadn't expected.
