Crayon Shinchan lives here

Kasukabe City is a rather bland part of suburban Kanto region sprawl, but it has pride in its native son, Crayon Shinchan. You’ll find him, his family, and classmates on the Kasukabe Station platform. 

Crayon Shinchan, created by local manga artist Usui Yoshito, hasn’t aged a day past 5 years old in the three decades since he first appeared in weekly manga magazines. The opening theme from the animated series announces train departures. You can’t miss him. 

If you’ve got Shinchan fans in your family, take them to the Lala Garden mall to see Puri Puri Studio, a Shinchan themed amusement.
