While the autumn equinox is already behind us, it's still quite warm during the day here in the Kanto region. It doesn't feel much like light sweater weather. A big hint of autumn is 7-11's two installments of autumn foods. This time, I managed to get two kuri taki komi gohan omusubi during the sales period. The rice balls, light and fluffy, are prepared with chestnuts. They're lightly sweet. The contrast in textures between the tender chestnut and fluffy rice is a treat.
