Sapporo Breweries' Yebisu premium brand started a series, Creative Brew, in 2023. This beer, Creative White Sun, is a wheat ale with 5.5% alcohol. It's available at 7-11 convenience stores. This winter limited beer is one in a series of about a dozen "creative brews" launched in 2023, allowing young brewers to experiment. White Sun is brewed malted barley and wheat malt with the addition of coriander seed. This small-production beer pours gold with a light head. The coriander and malt are very fragrant, with a yeasty and floral quality.

Sapporo Breweries' Yebisu Creative Brew White Sun is worth a try. It's a reasonably priced premium beer. The beer has a lovely fragrance when you pour it. It takes a little while to draw on the flavour. You might take a few sips before the flavour comes out. The coriander, wheaty, bready notes are quite pronounced. The floral and lightly citrus flavours reveal themselves as you drink it. It's nice enough. I didn't find it show-stopping. This beer was released in December 2025, and I could still find it at convenience stores in February.
