I need my cup of joe in the morning. It's got to be good, and while I won't turn my nose up at instant coffee, I much prefer a properly poured cup of coffee. This week, I'm waiting on a delivery, so I tided myself over with Mon Cafe single-drip coffee packets. This version is Premier Blend of ground Arabica coffee. The structure of the drip coffee packet is sturdy and the filter contains a substantial amount of ground coffee. The dripper stands high off the edge of the coffee cup so that it doesn't soak. The coffee is rich and flavourful.

While I can't say this Mon Cafe drip coffee set is economical, it is an excellent product. It's something you might buy in a pinch, or keep on hand in your desk drawer at work. I've enjoyed two of these coffee drippers and they haven't failed. The design means that the coffee stays in the filter and doesn't easily spill. The dripper stays firmly on the edges of the coffee cup, above the brew. What won me over was the outer package. Unlike similar products wrapped in plastic, this one is paper. It helps me reduce plastic waste.
