Glasses at Tully's

With the weather warming up, I’ve been a bit more inclined to order cold drinks when I visit cafes than usual. As a result, I’ve discovered that Tully’s has introduced something quite good…

Glasses!

It’s a small thing, but I think it's important. It’s so nice to get a drink in a reusable glass rather than a pointless plastic container that will just be thrown out. At the local branches I frequent, they're not much as offering a choice between a disposable cup and a glass as confirming that the glass is fine, which is definitely a great step. 

Sure, there’s still a lot of other waste happening, and I’m sure some branches will still just give me a plastic cup when they see my face to be on the safe side rather than try communicating and find out if I’d actually prefer to use a glass. But I think it’s an excellent start and I hope other cafes (HELLO STARBUCKS) follow suit with their iced drinks!
