How to Access Tokyo City Keiba Horse Racecourse

Gallery

Hey guys, it’s me again! As I promised in my last article I will briefly explain how to get to Tokyo City Keiba. It actually not that difficult, even if you are a foreigner and cannot speak Japanese.

First, let me talk about where Tokyo City Keiba racecourse is actually located. TCK is located in the center of Tokyo close to Haneda Airport and can easily be accessed from all parts of the city. The closest train station is Tokyo Monorail’s “Oikeibajo-mae Station” which can easily be reached by “Hamamatsucho Station” as well as from Haneda Airport’s International Terminal within around 10 minutes. Getting on the Tokyo Monorail itself is always an exiting experience and a good way to observe the beautiful scenery of Tokyo!

When I visited TCK I came from the Haneda International Airport. The airport is huge, however it is relatively easy to find the location of Tokyo Monorail as signs are written not only in Japanese but also in English and mostly Chinese as well. If you are struggling anyway, the airport staff will most likely be happy to help you!

Once I arrived at Oikeibajo-Mae Station I had to realize that it was raining. A lot. Like poring rain. I am not even kidding. All the better the horse racecourse is located a solid two to three minutes walk from the station and basically impossible to miss. So even if you are not using a Japanese phone and have no access to the internet to use google maps etc., you should be able to find the venue without any problems.

If you want to check how to access TCK in advance you can simply check its website, there is a map and explanation about how to get there all written in English. I will put the link right here:

I hope this article will help you to find the way to TCK easily. If you have any questions, please leave a comment so I can get back to you!

Thanks for reading,

Carla
