The description
This product is a savory pie from Starbucks, filled with coarse‑ground sausage, wrapped in a flaky pastry and baked until crisp - with mustard seasoning.
The good
I find the Arabiki Sausage Pie one of Starbucks Coffee's most comforting savory options. It makes a nice elevenses or a very light lunch. Arabiki Sausage is a coarse-ground sausage offering a more flavorful and juicier taste than some other sausages. It creates a satisfying meaty bite that pairs well with the crisp pastry around it. The mustard seasoning adds just the right amount of sharpness, giving the pie a deeper, more rounded taste without overpowering the sausage. It’s warm, filling, and easy to enjoy on the go or instore. A reliable choice when you want something hearty but simple.
The not so good
While the Arabiki Sausage Pie is hearty, it may feel a bit one‑note if you prefer more complex flavors. The sausage is savory but quite standard, and the mustard seasoning, though present, doesn’t add much excitement. The pastry is crisp, yet slightly oily, which can make the overall experience feel heavier than expected. It also can make quite a mess! I found quite a lot of the pastry was lost to the plate or the ground when trying to eat it with a fork! It's a convenient and safe offering from Starbucks, but if you want something a bit more memorable it might not be the best option.
