Japan's cool "dekotora"

"Dekotora" is a portmanteau of  "decoration" deko and "truck" tora. As the name suggests they are trucks that are elaborately decorated as you can hopefully see in the attached photo. 

You don't see as many 'dekotora: around in comparison to 25 years ago. The most common place I see then in recent years is at festivals. Not traditional festivals, but things like cherry blossom festivals and fair type community festivals.
