The description
This 7-Eleven product is a creamy "7‑Premium" ice-cream made with Hokkaido melon juice in the dairy ice-cream, with a waffle like crunchy cone. Contains milk and wheat.
The good
Overall, I really enjoyed this ice-cream with a waffle cone and Hokkaido melon sauce. Even before opening the packet, you could smell the melon. However, I will say for anyone who prefers to taste the milk cream more than the flavoring, this product might not be you. Similarly, some people might find the ice-cream a bit one note and tire of the melon flavor after a few bites. The waffle cone had a great crunch to it which added a nice contrast and flavor too. The price isn't too bad either, for a 'premium' ice-cream.
The not so good
I have deducted a star, because it was really difficult to open! There is instructions on the pack, which I followed to a T, but it was still really hard to open. In the end I had to put it on its side to open it and then it suddenly popped and the ice-cream fell on the table! It wasn't from a distance, so the ice-cream wasn't mushed thankfully. And thankfully it was a clean table so I could still eat the ice-cream. But if that happened outside and it fell on the ground, I would have had to have thrown the ice-cream out. However, I will buy it again. I wouldn't be buying it regularly, but it makes a nice treat every now and then.
