A brand-new anniversary, for Natural Lawson

I regularly read the Japan Anniversary Association's website, because I like to share the daily anniversaries, observances and commemorations in Japan. I was delighted to find a brand-new entry today - for Natural Lawson.

Natural Lawson is Lawson's health-focused convenience store brand that was created in 2001 from an employee's with to provide safe, organic, health-minded foods for their family. As Lawson are celebrating 25 years since they introduced "Natural Lawson", they wanted to create an official anniversary to mark the commemoration.

They chose July 6th for the anniversary as a play on 7/6: Na (7) tural Law (6) son". Also, the first Natural Lawson store opened in the month of July in 2001.  The parent company, Lawson, themselves, celebrated 50 years last year, 2025.
