Don't Queue, Won't Queue

Shopping is one of my least favorite things to do. More often than not, even when I am shopping for non-necessities, I don't find it fun. Except for a rare exception, I find all types of shopping a chore. I am also not a fan of queues (lines), and I avoid them at all costs. 

So, yesterday in the mall when there were lines for almost every restaurant in the food court, it was my worst nightmare. Ultimately, I chose the restaurant with the smallest line. A tactic I often employ on busy mall days. I had purposefully chosen to dine outside of the usual eating periods too, so I can only imagine how much worse the lines were at lunch hour. 

I had my daughter with me and initially she was interested in trying some of the Animal Crossing themed ice-cream currently available at Baskin Robbins. Thankfully, her interest wasn't deep enough for her to want to join the long line either. There were at least 30 people in line. Like me, she ultimately chose to get something else from a restaurant with a shorter line!
