Despite not being a chocolate-mint flavor fan, I really enjoyed this flavor of Kitkat, but not enough to give it 5 stars! I liked that it was not just chocolate mint, but specifically, Baskin Robbins’ mint‑chocolate ice cream flavor. Its a fun, summer collaboration. I have tried the Strawberry Cheesecake ice-cream flavor in the range as well. Both I enjoyed, but they are both just lacking something that prevents me from giving them five stars. However, the packaging is bright and cheerful, and I am sure fans of seasonal or novelty KitKat flavors are very happy with this collaboration.

While enjoyable, the mint flavor leans more toward a sweet, candy‑style mint rather than a deep, ice‑cream richness. The chocolate can overpower the mint in some bites, and the overall balance may feel a bit mild for strong mint lovers. Yet, the mint is overwhelming, so on the flip side - if you don't like mint you might not enjoy this flavor and / or find the mint a bit overbearing. As a limited edition, it’s fun to try, but not quite memorable enough to stand out among Japan’s many creative KitKat releases. A nice novelty, but not a must‑buy - unless you are on a mission to try all of the Kitkat flavors available!
