The description
This is a bread product. It is a danish pastry filled with whipped cream. 'Plenty' of whipped cream as they claim in the product's title on the packaging.
The good
I am not a big fan of Pasco bakery's breads. I have tried many over the years and they are just not to my liking. But my husband bought we this "Plenty of whipped cream danish pastry" last night, so I ate it. And much to my surprise, I really like it. Just as they claim on the packaging, it has 'plenty' of whipped cream in it. And it is nice whipped cream, sweet, light and fluffy. Just how I like it. The pastry around the cream reminds me of the apple danish you can get here. It was a little chewy, but better than others.
The not so good
My husband bought it at night when there are often discounts on food products that are expiring in a day or two. He didn't go for the discounts, for the record! He was on his way home from karate and was picking up some treats. With the discount it was just 99 yen, which is not a bad price these days. Normally it is 119 yen (before tax), which, although it tasted good, I am not sure I would pay regularly for this whipped cream danish. Was I glad I tried it? Yes. Would I buy it again? Maybe, if there was nothing better on offer!
