A day for metals and metal allergy awareness

March 16th annually is both Negozietto “Learn About Metal Allergies” Day（ネゴツィエットが金属アレルギーの事を知って欲しい日） and Stainless 316L Jewelry Day（ステンレス316Lジュエリーの日）in Japan. The former focuses on raising awareness about metal allergies and the latter promotes the hypoallergenic stainless-steel alloy known as 316L.

Negozietto is the name of the company that created the "Learn about Metal Allergies" anniversary and the also use low metal allergy material, 316L, in some of their products, which is the focal point of the "Stainless 316L Jewelry Day" Anniversary. Naturally, as March 16th is written 3/16 in Japan, it was the perfect date for both anniversaries. Moreover, 316 is also the alloy number. 

Both days invite people to think about the material used in jewelry and other metal items that touch the skin and creates awareness about the availability of the low metal allergy material 316L.
