This year, September 9th has officially become Attack on Titan Day 進撃の巨人の日 in Japan and is now registered with the Japan Anniversary Association. The date reflects both the manga's beginnings and the symbolic presence of Nine Titans, making it a fitting date to celebrate one of Japan's most influential stories.

To mark the occasion, the franchise released a striking new visual featuring all Nine Titans, along with a commemorative logo. Hajime Isayama also shared a newly drawn illustration, adding a personal touch that delighted fans across social media.

Special campaigns have been rolling out all day. Magapoke offered the first 99 chapters free for 99 hours, while Magazine Shop launched limited‑edition goods using formal-style character art created just for this celebration. The official Attack on Titan YouTube channel also opened, promising exclusive videos and limited-time anime releases.

Looking ahead, the first compilation film will return to theaters in ScreenX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX formats this October, with the final film arriving in 2027. From global collaborations to new figures and concerts, "Attack on Titan Day" highlights just how far the series continues to reach.
