The Snow Fringe Trees are early this year

In the prefecture I live in, Saitama Prefecture, for many years the Snow Fringe Tree bloomed the first week in May, peaking around the end of Golden Week. However, in recent years, it has been blooming earlier and earlier.

Last year, the Snow Fringe Tree were in full bloom on May 1st, but this year they are even earlier. Yesterday, I went to see several different Fringe Trees in my prefecture and all but one were in full bloom. The one that wasn't will surely be today as it was practically full bloom yesterday. 

Snow Fringe Trees are such an enchanting tree. They are sometimes called Old Man's Beard Tree in English, and hopefully you can see why in the photo gallery. Have you any Snow Fringe Trees in your area?
