A day for Baby Cheese!
Today, and June 7th annually, is Baby Cheese Day ベビーチーズの日 in Japan. "Baby Cheese Day" celebrates the small, individually wrapped cheeses - pictured - that have become a familiar part of Japanese lunchboxes and snacks.

The day was created by Rokko Butter, the company behind the QBB brand, whose name inspires the date: the first Sunday of June, echoing “6” for Rokko and “1” for “one a day.” Baby cheese is loved for its convenience, variety of flavors, and nostalgic charm. It fits easily into family meals, picnics, and even wine pairings, making it a versatile treat for all ages.
The day encourages people to enjoy cheese; try new flavors and share their favorites with others. It also highlights the idea that small, nutritious habits can brighten everyday life. Do you have a favorite 'Baby Cheese' flavor? You will find some of the flavors reviewed in the review section of City-cost.
