Bucket List Day

Among the many, many anniversaries and "Day of X" in Japan on November 3rd annually, is "Bucket List Day". Bucket List Day in Japan was created by Ryuji Honda, aka "Traveling Picture Book Writer Rick Stanton" in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture. Bucket List Day was certified and registered by the Japan Anniversary Association in 2017.

A "bucket list" is a list of things you want to do in your lifetime. For some people it might be a 'list of things to do before you die'!. November 3rd was chosen as a pun on the date which can mean "a day to draw the good not yet come". On this day you can usually find a few seminars on how to write a bucket list. You will also find bucket list related content on social media.

It begs the question; do you have a bucket list?
