Moose Family Camp Resort is an American owned American style retro campsite with lots of extras. And some really unique selling points. For example, where else in Japan can you enjoy an outdoor heated jacuzzi at a camping grounds? I think you'll find Moose Family Camp Resort is the only place. The campsite was reopened with the new owners this year after five years in which time it was abandoned. It is still a work in progress, but they have a lot of facilities and services for family. There is so much for the kids to play with they will never be bored. Bikes, basketball machine, basketball net, balls galore, swimming pool (seasonal), indoor play room, crafts etc You can stay in a retro camper van too or a mobile home. They are reasonably priced. The tent sites are a little small and might not fit a tarp, but there is a patio area for barbecuing and setting up a picnic table. Some of the sites actually provide a picnic table. It costs around 6000 yen for a tent site and around 12000 for a camper / mobile home per night, but they have a weekend special with discounted prices. Oh... and the best bit... the language of the camp is English!
