While in the States, I never really cared for the Cup Noodle instant ramen before. They were just okay to me. I always wondered why different animes would always hype up instant ramen and after moving to Japan I now understand. I've visited the Cup Noodle museum in Yokohama and came to appreciate the instant ramen more. I then started trying the different flavors I've never seen before. I think this may be a new flavor, but anything with cheese sounds amazing. I had to get the Cheese Curry flavor!!
I should also really learn how to read the nutrition table soon...
Opening the lid, I saw cubes of the dehydrated cheese and was so excited to try it! The cup noodle smelled strongly of cheese, however after adding the boiling water to it, and letting it sit, the cheese smell disappeared.
You can see a little cheese, however all the cheese pretty much melted or sank to the bottom. The curry flavor was really good, I can't remember what the regular Cup Noodle Curry flavor tastes like, but I'd assume it tastes the exact same (without the cheese). I think the cheese is a nice addition to this, however you only really taste very little of it. I think they should add more cheese to really make this into a "Cheese Curry" flavor. The broth was also amazing. I usually don't like to drink these instant ramen broths, but I drank the entire thing this time.
I think this will be added to one of my top flavors so far, but it does not beat my ultimate favorite, Chili Tomato (which I will share about soon).
