Spending the last day of Golden Week at Nagoya's Osu Kannon Temple

Hello! I'm now finally back after months of being on hiatus. (Apologies) So without further ado, here's an update :)

It was on a nice Saturday morning when we decided to spend the last day of the Golden Week at Nagoya's Osu Kannon Temple. We actually didn't do anything special for the whole week, didn't even travel, we just stayed at home and binge-watch movies (The Avengers, since The Infinity War's out my husband wants to track down back to the beginning where it all started). Usually, every time we plan to go somewhere we don't take trains or Shinkansen, my husband just drives all the way from home to our destination (like even when we spent our New Year's Eve at Tokyo Disneysea, side-trip to Safari Park at Shizouka, he just drove for like hours and hours.)

Going back to the topic, May 5, 2018--Children's day Holiday in Japan we went to our usual strolling place-- Nagoya Osu Kannon, but this time we went inside the temple (yay!!! finally!!) not gonna lie it was actually my first time visiting the Osu Kannon temple even though I've been to Nagoya several times already.

First stop! FOOOOOOD

Heads up! I didn't took lots of photos because I was skeptical about it, I already have an experience where I was being reprimand for taking videos and photos of food. (Yes you read it right! FOOD) so that explains why I only have 3 shots taken. I was just being cautious this time.

The above photo you see is where people line up and wait for their turn to enter the place and pray.

I honestly don't know how to read that because, well, Kanji. However I find it cute though so I took a photo of it.

And after going inside the temple, we headed back to Osu Kannon Shopping District and stroll.

Then we decided to go home. So yeah, that sums up our last day of the Golden Week this year. Not much of an activity though, but at least we really had time to rest for the whole week. :)

PS- I'll try to write something about our Shizouka and Tokyo Trip from last New Year (as what I've mentioned above), I know it's kinda late but maybe you guys can get tips from our long hour drive experience-- with an infant!! (it's crazy I know! lol)

I'll keep you guys posted!
