Mixing Corn With Chocolate?

Of all the strange flavor combinations, Black Thunder candy bars have a new seasonal flavor: Corn Thunder

For whatever reason, I really wanted to try this, without thinking about how corn and chocolate don't even sound good. 

The mini size candy bars are sold in Lawson Convenience stores for 40 yen before tax, compared to 30 yen for the regular Black Thunder bars.

Looks normal... but yeah, that's a kernel of corn.

I do not recommend these, but they are very interesting. I will say I'm glad I bought only one mini bar to share with my husband - I didn't wanna finish it myself.

I did see Black Thunder ice bars at 7-11 and I think those sound way better.
