Lawson Bakery: Mini Blueberry Croissant

Can I put the 'croissant' in quotes?

Yes convenient, yes affordable, yes seasonal flavor, but not a croissant. If you're looking for a real croissant, this is not what you're looking for. Head for the freshly baked bread shops please.

Fortunately I was not looking for or expecting a real croissant. I mean... blueberry? If you look at the color of the mini croissants, you can see they are really light. They are super doughy, not at all light and airy and crispy on the outside the way croissants (and most pastries) are meant to be.

When I opened the bag, there was a nice blueberry and buttery smell, but these have just a little butter and mostly margarine. They weren't awful, but not at all recommended.
