The description

This product is a sachet of the Kaldi Coffee Farm Spring Blend coffee. As the name suggests, it's limited to the spring season, and was priced at 130 yen including tax.

The good

This is a tasty coffee blend with beans primarily from Guatemala and Ethiopia, and it has an almost floral taste to it. It's really easy to prepare -- the drip coffee sachet basically hangs on the sides of your mug, and you just pour hot water over it. I appreciate these on days where I really don't want to brew an entire cup of coffee, and I don't think the price is too bad -- it's cheaper than getting a black coffee at a cafe or convenience store. I really liked the packaging, too, and it certainly evokes those springtime feelings.

The not so good

This is a springtime-limited product, so if you find yourself really liking it, you've got quite a short window to pick it up. Definitely stock up on a few if that's the case! From an environmental standpoint, I don't like that these are individually wrapped -- it ends up being quite a bit of single-use plastic/foil, which isn't great. I think a firm cardboard would wrap the coffee sachets adequately, but I'm sure it probably costs more than foil/plastic does. Overall though, a tasty cup of coffee and it eliminates the need to brew an entire coffee pot.
