The best cuisines ranked by nation at Expo 2025 Osaka

One thing I love about life in Japan is the plethora of great cuisine here. I've had some amazing meals, not just Japanese ones, but from a whole host of countries.

Since Expo 2025 is still going on, there was a ranking done by Yomiuri TV about the best nation's cuisines at the event. Malaysia snagged first place, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Australia (my home country!) came in second place. I don't know exactly what they are serving up that would be specifically Aussie-ish at the event, but I know that at one point the Australian Pavilion was hosting free lamb tastings...so perhaps that won people over! Who doesn't love free food?!

Tied for third place were Saudi Arabia, France, and Germany. I know a little about French and German cuisine, but not much about Saudi Arabian cuisine.
